MAWIBA® is a dance concept for moms and their babies, a great start to getting active again post-birth. While moms dance to pelvic floor-strengthening choreographies, improving posture and fitness, their babies snuggle close in a sling or baby carrier.
Developed with an experienced team of experts, MAWIBA® offers special choreographies to strengthen the pelvic floor and enhance posture.
MAWIBA® dance classes focus on gently regaining fitness after birth and primarily strengthening the pelvic floor, rather than being strenuous mommy-baby fitness sessions.
Of course, fun is a key element. No prior dance experience is needed; a love for dance and movement is all participants should bring.
A new choreography is learned in every MAWIBA® lesson.
Besides dancing, there’s ample time to meet other moms, share experiences, and enjoy time together.
Naturally, you can breastfeed, change diapers, or bottle-feed at any time.
During the seminar, MAWIBA® trainers gain foundational knowledge about babywearing to ensure babies are carried correctly during dances. However, this doesn’t replace a babywearing consultation, so MAWIBA® trainers work closely with local babywearing consultants.

In my opinion, MAWIBA is a wonderful and really fun way to start physical exercise after the postpartum period - a perfect addition next to or after a postnatal exercise or pelvic floor course.

MAWIBA is a great combination: you do something for your own health, have fun with other mums and the baby enjoys the closeness and warmth in the baby carrier. Since I have always loved dancing, I can now pursue my hobby as a MAWIBA trainer on a part-time basis and at the same time spend some wonderful cuddle time with my son.
