The following questions are frequently asked:
When can I join MAWIBA® with my baby?
After a positive postnatal check with your gynecologist, nothing is stopping you from joining a MAWIBA® Baby class. (8-12 weeks after birth)
Until which age can I participate in MAWIBA®? What is the maximum weight for my baby to be able to dance in a MAWIBA® class?
You and your baby can participate in MAWIBA® as long as carrying your baby brings you joy and you both feel comfortable...
How long does a MAWIBA® session last?
A dance session with a baby lasts approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
What distinguishes MAWIBA® from other mom-and-baby programs or activities?
MAWIBA® is an active dance program where the body is gently challenged, and the joy of moving with your baby is the main focus. It’s an ideal way to become active again after giving birth. It’s a gentle workout with your baby, but not a full workout program.
Does MAWIBA® replace postnatal recovery gymnastics?
No, MAWIBA® choreographies include elements to strengthen the pelvic floor, but Mama Baby Dance does not replace postnatal recovery gymnastics. However, participating in a MAWIBA® class is a great addition to strengthening the pelvic floor.
