What does a MAWIBA class actually look like?

Arriving and starting together
At the beginning of the class, we take a moment to arrive.
Women meet each other – pregnant women, moms with their babies, or women who simply enjoy moving their bodies.
Often, conversations begin in these very first minutes and a first sense of community develops.
Then the music starts – and the class begins.

Warm-up with targeted pelvic floor exercises
Every MAWIBA class starts with a warm-up that gently prepares the body for movement.
Joints are mobilized, muscles are activated, and the body is slowly brought into motion. An important part of this warm-up is targeted pelvic floor exercises.
The pelvic floor plays a central role in stability, posture, and overall well-being – especially during pregnancy and after birth. That is why it is consciously addressed and activated.
The exercises are easy to understand and explained step by step. This creates a good body awareness that accompanies you throughout the entire class.
In a MAWIBA Baby class, something quite special often happens here: through the gentle movements and the closeness to their mom, many babies fall asleep peacefully during the warm-up.

The choreography – the main part of the class
Each week we learn a new choreography that has been specially developed with the help of the MAWIBA expert team. The dance movements include targeted pelvic-floor-activating elements, so that alongside the joy of dancing, strengthening the pelvic floor is also a central focus.
The steps are easy to understand and are taught step by step. This allows all participants to follow along easily – regardless of their dance experience.
No one has to dance perfectly. And often it is the little mistakes that make the class even more fun.
It is about moving, feeling the music, and having fun together.
With every repetition, confidence grows – and often the joy of movement grows as well.

Cool-down and a relaxed finish
At the end of the class, a cool-down follows, where the tempo becomes calmer again.
This part of the class is a mix of gentle stretching, pelvic floor exercises, and conscious breathing. The body can slow down, the pulse gradually returns to normal, and the muscles can relax.
In this way, the class comes to a pleasant close and the body can consciously feel the movement once again.

Experiencing community
After the class, many participants stay together for a moment.
There is chatting, experiences are exchanged, and often new connections are formed naturally.
The shared movement brings women together – and sometimes a dance class becomes much more than just exercise – friendships begin to grow.

In summary
A MAWIBA class combines movement, music, and targeted pelvic floor training.
From the gentle warm-up to the new choreography and the relaxing cool-down, it creates a class that strengthens both the body and overall well-being. At the same time, it offers space to connect and exchange with other women in a similar phase of life.
For many participants, MAWIBA quickly becomes a regular moment in their week – for movement, joy, and a good feeling in their own body.
