Meet Linda – Our First MAWIBA Trainer in the Netherlands

We are proud to welcome Linda, our very first MAWIBA trainer in the Netherlands. Linda is a mother of three, works in a midwifery clinic and is also a babywearing consultant. With her professional background and personal experience, she is a wonderful fit for the MAWIBA community.

We asked Linda a few questions about her journey:

Why did you decide to become a MAWIBA trainer?

I became a MAWIBA trainer because I believe it is the perfect combination for young parents.

With MAWIBA, parents can start rebuilding their body after birth in an easy and accessible way, while their baby can simply come along. There is no need to arrange childcare, which makes it much easier for many families.

What do you love most about MAWIBA classes?

I love that MAWIBA supports bonding between parent and baby while also helping mothers with their physical recovery.

For me, that is something really special.

How was your experience with the MAWIBA trainer education?

The training was extensive, complete and very supportive.

You learn about babywearing techniques, safety, pelvic floor recovery and how to confidently guide parents in class.

Whenever support is needed, help is available.

What happens after certification?

What I really appreciated is that the support does not stop after certification.

You also receive help with getting started and launching your own classes, which is incredibly valuable.

What would you like to say to parents in the Netherlands?

I am very happy to now bring MAWIBA to families in the Netherlands and I look forward to welcoming many parents and babies into class soon.
